Delete your data or your account
These are two different things. Here is what each one does, and how to do it.
Delete Tasks and Preferences
Open Consten, go to Settings, and choose Delete Tasks and Preferences.
What it removes
The server copy: tasks, completions, settings, preferences, and theme photos.
What it keeps
Your account, subscription, and sign-in stay the same. Other devices with sync on stop syncing the next time they connect, and keep their own local data from there. Nothing on any device is deleted.
Delete Account
Open Consten, go to Settings, and choose Delete Account.
What it removes
The account itself: your sign-in, and everything Delete Tasks and Preferences removes.
What it keeps
Everything on your device stays exactly where it is. The app keeps working offline, just as before.
If you have already uninstalled
Email me from the address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. I will confirm within 30 days, usually sooner. If your account uses Sign in with Apple with a hidden address, send it from that relay address.
